Work Phases
This project had to be completed quickly as an MVP. It had to be launched as soon as possible, but that didn't mean sacrificing design quality. Even at a fast-paced rate, we ensured a great-looking and intuitive platform.
Design Phase
We began by creating quick brand guidelines including inspiration, typography, and colors. The chosen fonts were Recoleta for headers and Geist for content. We selected soft, warm colors to make writing and reading comfortable, keeping the layout clean and minimalist to reduce distraction.
Development Phase
After finalizing the design, development kicked off using Next.js for its performance and SEO capabilities. For the backend, we chose Supabase as a robust Firebase alternative, handling authentication and storage efficiently for the MVP.
Outcome
The result is an MVP platform ready to find its target users. It possesses all essential functionality required for a journaling tool, wrapped in an excellent design that stands out to potential users.
